Marietta Classmate Notes and Information
   
 

On July 27, 2022, John McClure sent me a file of the actual death dates of 22 of our classmates.  Those dates are listed now rather than just saying "Deceased".  Thanks John!
   
 

On May 6, 2019, Bob Wilson sent me information about a new Marietta history book, 'The Pioneers'.  Press HERE to read the review.
   
  On 04-13-13, Dianne (Wehrs) Vezza sent me me with the following information:  
 

Dianne has written her third book.  The title is "Letters Home: George Butler Turner and the 92nd Ohio Volunteer Infantry; Marietta, Ohio, to Missionary Ridge, Tennessee, July 1862 to November 1863".  Dianne told me "I researched and typed and looked for a publisher - 6-7 years in all!  Tell our classmates to buy my book from the publisher, Little Miami Publishing Co.

  On 07-09-12, Dianne (Wehrs) Vezza phoned me with the following information:  
  Dianne has written her second book.  The title is "Marietta Ohio, My Home Town".  Dianne will have copies of her book at the 55th reunion and will be selling them for $15.00.  
   
On 11-20-2006, Eula (Harris) Woodhouse wrote:
I would like to extend an invitation to any classmate who might want some sunshine (but remember we are 5,500 ft in
altitude).  We have two RV pads on either side of our home and both are behind fences.  One is w/e/s and the other is w/e.
We have an RV as our guest rooms so even non RVer's might like a place to stay.  Just give us a call. 
To save looking up Rio Rancho,  it is a bedroom community right next to Albuquerque and 36 miles from Santa Fe.  
We are in the non-Las Vegas casino center with seven Indian casinos within 20 miles  if that should be your thing.  Eula.
